nothing changes young birds down the swanny aberdeen fed what a laugh if you want your birds lost come and stay up here year after year the same thing happens 55% young birds gone in one race so what is going on ,sat morring what time did the transporter set off and did the birds get time for a drink and were the birds let go when the dundee fed were above them the dundee fed let go at stow, at seven about thirty miles south of thornton'the dundee birds took an hour much the same speed as the aberdeen birds so was it get to the race point and let's cut the "strings" the aberdeen fed let go at seven thirty.
I have the Fed result infront of me,winning vel 1791. The winning member timed 29 of his 40 pigeons sent in 13 minutes and has 39 birds on his print out at clock opening. Second member to time in the Fed, 39 pigeons sent, timed 30 in 2 minutes and had 37 by 9.15,thats 28 minutes to time 37 birds. Does that not tell you something? It tells me that untrained birds did not leave the race point. Who's fault is that?
I sent 20 and got 15 home,13 by 9.20,one at 11.17 and one in the loft when I came back from the club. I am not on the Fed result which is the first 30,my vel is 1640. Reambrant got one of mine from the race in his loft on Saturday afternoon flown out. That leaves 4 unaccounted for.
A lot of Fife birds were coming out from the north as well clocky. It seems like the south west wind pushed them further up the way than expected. We only have 1 race from Kelso this year as oppose to 2, then its into Otterburn for 1 as oppose to 2. The thinking behind this is, that the fanciers who didnt go to the first 3 races ie kelso, kelso, otterburn, then jump them in with the trained boys (to get a pull home with the experienced ones), they are now forced to join the young bird season quicker. I dont understand people who cant be bothered going to the first race, after all the season is short enough.
I am not saying that if some birds did not leave (this is what I think happened) that they were all untrained, but untrained birds can hold back others.
Please print the birdage for all the young bird races.
Where did all the birds come from on week three ?
Boomerang is right jump in week three or four with untrained or part trained and hope you get them home as some have found out it is risky them blame someone else
Come on Blackswan put your real name to your post or are you afraid you might get some home truths I will put your name down for the drivers job or Race controller for the AGM

If you are a Fed member and interested you could find out this information. In case you do not know we have tracker and videos for people like you that want to spread crap I am inviting you to the next meeting to get the answers you want. You obviously know nothing about the Federation. 1700ypm and you are saying this was a bad race what do you want.

Read and digest this post is spot on. Seeing as you are so well informed Blackswan let us know how many birds you put to the 3 young bird races.
