right every town has a fancier or more than one i said i would pick up any bird in gwent and deliver up to carmarthen if we set up a net work of fanciers who will cover there area or meet on borders we can cover wales england scotland free of charge because we all pay to get birds back one way or other roger phothom flyer covers a wide area and does afirst class job also he is a fancier but will still get loads of work 3000 plus on this site lets do it for ourselfs peter bryant will print list of phone numbers of fanciers on list and print in bhw you can make donation to petrol costs if you so wish  but you will gain when one of youers is reported  any other thoughts

chris,,,the idea is great one, but,i am afraid it will be falling on deaf ears most of the time here,,,allmost every one on here will whinge and moan about amtrak and strays etc, etc,,,,no one apart from a few will get of there lazy arses and do anything that is a problem that the fancier makes for himself,,,,lots do talk the talk, but, very few will walk the walk !!!

moan, whinge, graon, whine, etc, etc.etc,,,,,,,what a pathetic lot that most fanciers are for maoning about problem that they cause themselves then dont want to know !!!!

sorry if i upset anyone, but, thats life and dont intend to argue with anyone over it !!!!!

As you are prob aware Chris Roger was looking for people to cover areas, sound like you put your self forward as did I. I spoke Roger a few times and then received a txt and e-mail to say they were going live nationaly 2 days after txt.
I then e-mail Roger again because I hadn't received any information on the trunking of birds from area to area and also asking for notices etc to put up in local corn stores etc but havn't heard a word since.

you need to know who the fanciers are and their location so a systerm can be set up or you will be running all over the place

And they've struck again!
Just got back froma club meeting and a members had a bird returned by Amtrak, they rang the member while parked outside his house as he was working around the corner. The driver said he had a pigeon for him but it was dead!
The member went around to the house and the driver had succesfuly diagnosed it was dead but was still demanding money for the delivery!
The member refused to pay! Amtrak have since sent another driver to recover the money and have now said they will not deliver or collect from the member!
