pigeon found in newbrdge just outside edinburgh so tired and hungry it followed  me around the garden its a  blue bar with light green stock ring on one leg and gb ring on the other tel 0131 333 3875 will report it as well

you need to put the GB......... part of the ring on as all sorts of people use marker rings. Otherwise everyone with GB rings will be calling you.

there were 99,999 'E' rings issued to various clubs in 2007 - can you please put the full number on - then we can identify the club the ring number belongs to

know where you coming from but the bird is no good to anybody if it not registered to them only the owner will claim it also if you put number on here people will be able to tell you which club it comes from and possibly the owner

If you give the full number then we can identify which club the pigeon comes from and let you have the secretary's telephone number.  You can check that it is the rightful owner claiming the bird by asking them to describe it - colouring etc.

Sorry if you were offended but if you have been in the sport then you must know that to identify the bird you need the full details on the ring to be sure who's bird it is

didnt realise there were so many bright people in the pigeon game makes you wonder how the sport is dying on its feet as i have already said its been reported on the official site so whoever is the owner will be notified next week

As many on the site can testify its takes actual owners of birds reported all there time to want to send for a bird so the chances of someone sending for a stray not belonging to them is very low
