Fund - Raisers  or Fun money!

Must say that in two of the clubs, indeed all three, the secs are great, very well looked up too and respected. Indeed one is always voted 'Best Member'. One eat sleeps and drinks his job, absolutely loves it and pigeons. The other, just does and discusses everything. That is just one big happy family.
Must say that it is pleasure to be in all three. Will change membership of one at least to 'Honoury Member (non - flying) because I never fly it... just pay the £140 and does a few 'Fund - raisers, which I will continue to do of course. But time to ge to one in race season has been just about impossible for the last few seasons, so must concentrate on getting at least one good season in where I race most weeks. Just thought I'd let you know how lucky we are - I am.

good reading.i went to bed last night b4 it ended and just read the rest of this thread this morning, im not siding with anyone but found pill club ok, so has a few of my m8s who go there on national nights.
everyone has a different view and thats wot makes the world more interesting.
i think there are members in  clubs who give clubs bad names but the club should not be tared with the same brush..
i personally have found pill club ok but someone else may find it different.

Not another day of these two welsh faciers tearing lumps out one another Its really getting boring Why dont you both get on on the phone and sort this out. I just would hate too think what some young novices coming into the sport makes of all this fighting  Surely we try to encourage fanciers into the sport not chase them away with personal childish arguments Come on you guys get a grip ?????

lets take out ur ...these two WELSH fanciers expression...it could be defined as the welsh in general causing this.
and if ur view is its getting boring then why click on the thread and read it?
there are many threads on here to read beside this one, i dont think anyone new coming on here would be affected by this thread because it has stayed peaceful without swearing.
in my view its good to see debates like this ..as long as they stay civil.

im glad evryone enjoyed the night i certainly did
mr maidment had no reason to tarnish the club membership in the way he did and thats the reason i came on and challenged him
some may have been bored by the issue so what we did it for our own benifit and no one elses
we were in no way agressive or abusive to each other mr maidment made alligations against the club which were raised and i hope he understands my reasons for me starting the issue and protecting the interests and dignity of my fellow club mates
the question is would you stand back and take it if people were having a go at your fellow club members (a) i dont think so

mr maidment has hopefully acknowledged my thoughts and feelings on the issue and i hope it ends there with no more alligations being made

but hey it beat the tele last night
