Lovely pigeon found lost and lonely, seeking its owner, affectionatly named 'Pigey', I have him/her secured in a box and have fed and watered him/her. Green band with following on: GB 08 T3 9808 (may be another number between the 3 & 9, but worried opeing the box will make him/her run away!) on green band, red/pink rubber band on other leg. Doesnt seem noticable injured, was evry hungry! been around since at least yesterday. Help appreciated in re-uniting Pigey with his/her owner. Live Margate, kent! Thanks!

been given a name as finally got thru to the 'call centre'! but cant get an ansa, so will try that number too! ta. and anyone knowing a Mr Lovatt who i believe owns pigey could perhaps let him know.....
Still cant get hold of anyone about Pigey... does anyone know what the usual proceedure would be for returning Pigey to his/her rightful home? I have to go away for a wedding tomorrow and a bit panickey!
If you phone the RPRA on 01452 713529, explain that you have the bird, and that you are a non fancier who is going away and they should try and arrange a local fancier to collect it from you.
