Race day is here! Soon, I will take my birds to the club and enter them for their first race. I'm not sending my good couple of ones as I want to make sure my birds are ready and can handle 40 miles ok and with the threat of showers I don't want to risk it anyway. My club mentour agrees with me. Still though, I'm just looking forward to getting them back, because I know I'm not going to win anything.
tariq,,,,just sit back and enjoy your first race,,,when you see one coming,,,,dont get yourself too excited and start flapping your self,,,,,just stay cool,calm and collected and the birds respond much better,,,,dont worry on winning,,,just get them home ok,,,winning will be your bonus !!!!
Good luck tariq, i enjoy watching ALL my birds return, if they are up front its a bonus. Be positive, it filters through to your birds, i,m sure theres a first for you at some point, and plenty for the future. Just enjoy it.
