Them tours birds will have a hard fly today it started raining in hexham at 1 oclock and its still raining now 5.15 low dark clouds GOOD LUCK [ YOU WILL NEED IT ]
dont know how our returns are from france we were from niort & they are very far between, ive been looking under the loft for themour winner 530miles in less than 10hours then only a hand full home
One of the oddest of races I can remember from Niort. Good velocities from some, but the birds in general have taken a battering. Makes one wonder whether the majority got across. Plenty of good birds missing. I sent 4 previous winners, but aint seem them. I timed 2 yearlings, within five minutes, to finish 2nd & 3rd. This to me was a very queer race indeed. What a season!
thank redcheqhen he's broke my novice 1st club and am buzzin
Well done John! I'm made up for you. You beat our club. Charlie Grice won it at 15.38. I was 13.55 and just turned the hour. But can't remember a race quite like it. When I timed the first two in, I thought , here we go, they'll all be back within the hour. Only got one more. What a disaster! Some good flyers haven't even clocked. But well done John, you did very, very well.
