As anyone sent to this race with the BRITISH BARCELONA CLUB,they were liberated this morning at 6.30 a.m,we have 3 members in our club that have sent all flying around 750 miles,best of luck to all competitors.

That was 2 good birds there be plenty waiting with you this morning peter was talking to quite a few who had sent last night when i was marking the barcelona birds and they were all rushing back to wait for palamos birds

I visited Danny Staddon this morning to do a report on his recent 1st & 2nd  Hants 2B Ch. Club from Falaise, the pigeon that was 2nd is his Palamos timing, looking very well too. It is 100% Lenny Painter bloodlines.

Dont know the exact nos but going by what was on the transporter and what we sent i reckon around the 300 mark just wish it was lot more think it would give us lot better chance

Spoke to Bomber Mellis, he timed at 10.16, the same pigeon that was 4th Sec. last year.

My birds have 751 miles to do and I don't think any have got this far as yet. Twas a tough one and all credit to those that have them. I aint given up hope yet though.

Twas 23 birds last night. Might be wrong but the longest flying bird may be Bristol. It aint been a good 'un but when Mick McGrevy gets one, then I will feel beaten cos his birds have to do over 800 mile. Bugger I'd feel great to beat him and some of the other longer flyers.

I am still two boxes missing there owners and still hope to get them but ! I see one bird in Telford and that is nice to know at least one has made it past 700mile belonging to J & T Barnett and daughter. FANTASTIC.

Les there is only one winner, but that welsh bird is without doubt a top pigeon as is the one in Telford. I think we need to look further than the top of the result to see good pigeons. But any pigeon that has flown Palamos or Barcelona is well worth its corn.

Thanks guys. Gonna put him to stock now as he is a lucky pigeon. Hawked from Tours MNFC and again from Perth NRCC and injured wing this time aswell.
