I visited Danny Staddon this morning to do a report on his recent 1st & 2nd  Hants 2B Ch. Club from Falaise, the pigeon that was 2nd is his Palamos timing, looking very well too. It is 100% Lenny Painter bloodlines.

Just a modification to my earlier post, Danny was 1st & 2nd from Lessay,116mls, just shows what a versatile pigeon he has.

My birds have 751 miles to do and I don't think any have got this far as yet. Twas a tough one and all credit to those that have them. I aint given up hope yet though.

Twas 23 birds last night. Might be wrong but the longest flying bird may be Bristol. It aint been a good 'un but when Mick McGrevy gets one, then I will feel beaten cos his birds have to do over 800 mile. Bugger I'd feel great to beat him and some of the other longer flyers.

Les there is only one winner, but that welsh bird is without doubt a top pigeon as is the one in Telford. I think we need to look further than the top of the result to see good pigeons. But any pigeon that has flown Palamos or Barcelona is well worth its corn.
