and where was the wind from the west and to say the birds come to the solway think it not to far east to west say 15mile either side with west in the wind i thik they are more likly to fly east coast as they aint going over the top of no mountains and to say any thing about geting a drink i am not demeaning the guy looking after the birds mate, but do the pigeons in that transporter hear the water runing because when you train your birds to drink they hear and see you pour the water now that might not sink in whith you, but that could be part of the problem
Alex I would not get involved in responding to any further threads on this subject the Guy has got a slate missing and as we say in Scotland not the full Shilling.

Hi Bart If they did move why ? Been done it the past to replenish the water tank if no running water on site Yes the tank is mounted in the roof at front of trailer were feeding is stored holds app 200 gallon the water is changed every 3/4 hours The simple answer is we should have been at Eastbourne with the SNFC The answer to why our returns are not as good as the SNFC dont have one only theories Cheers Homer 49
hi homer if they did move and the water tanks never worked then the birds might have been short of water i got 2-4 well out race time but should we as members not be looking to transport our bird's in the best conditions i reckon our baskets and transporter are past there best maybe a large levy per member is the way forward thanks for the answer homer49 i only have the birds welfare at heart not out to start a witch hunt
