Did a quick Google search this morning, and found an interesting Q&A with Mr Napolitano:

Congrats to all involved

Come on Rose was he supposed to know Carlo was to put up this performance

But seeing you are critisising all round why not apply for the JOB

You seem to miss the point the RPRA does a good job, just not the things you want

I would swop Peter Bryant any day for the manager of the SHU

Anytime I have contacted Peter even though I am not a member of the RPRA I have always recieved a reply

But that may also be conceived as a crime

Lets wait and see who you get next he has big boots to fill

Look at the GOOD points not all the bad points it's easy to critisise

Cheers
Ian

Ps I am totaly impartial. Wish he was working for us.

No he wasnt to know he was going to do anything but if he is not there at the most important time of the year for pigeon fanciers i would presume that someone is there to be covering his roll while he is away  (for all i know there might be on the other hand there might not be)
No im afraid im not management material no i couldnt go to dinnners and put on a good show and make small talk with people because of who they are and not what they do
Im afraid you will not change my view on the RPRA but then i am a RPRA member and have had dealings with them and im afraid was very unimpressed   I dont doubt that the RPRA can be very good on some things I would probably get the same response if i contacted the SHU so i could probably say what you got to complain about with the SHU but then you are up there and under them and  would  know a lot more about the SHU same goes with me under the RPRA

Must say I totally agree with Ian McKay. Further not only dd he have  fights on all fronts ... but more sadly a constant one from within ... Apathy groaners that just moan about what he, or any and everyone else should be doing or done. Week in week out... Why he couldn't get a PR Firm -like the RSPB, Governments, Corporate firms, any and every business etc etc. because the 'Fancy' at large won't pay a a few pence per year for one. Gosh the majority are so far behind the times that most believe that because 'So and So' can run a shop, or a lorry firm or whatever that they SHOULD be able to give time and fore thought to any and every whim they have, and if they are fairly well off, pay for it too! No organisation in real terms to day does anything in regards the 'Media / Joe public with out one! Yet we still visualise a 'Knight that is vastly intellectual, highly intelligent, to ride up a do it all for nowt! Just how and when they'd have the time - especially if like they wish and mention - he is a successful businessman to be just stupid enough to do it!

he was shooting but was not shooting goshawks ( think he may have been loaned a book of crows with goshawk picture over top of it perhaps got it for one of his birthdays by a pigeon fancier)
