Well i would have thought it is a job that having a holiday in probably the most important part of the year is not really on unless there is someone else to take on the job in their absence perhaps whoever takes on the job might think bit differently see its being advertised again

Just read the ad for the job look at the last paragrah

GENERAL MANAGER

ROYAL PIGEON RACING ASSOCIATION

SALARY NEGOTIABLE PLUS PENSION AND COMPANY CAR

The current general manager is retiring in November after 10 years service.  His successor will be an all round manager and administrator with proven experience in personnel and accountancy management, experience of servicing a committee, an ability to work on his/her own initiative, and a confident public speaker with experience of dealing with government and professional bodies.

Knowledge of pigeon racing would be an advantage but an ability to relate to our members who come from all walks of life is essential.  The successful applicant will need to be flexible with his/her outlook as the job may entail occasional weekend and evening work. The general manager will be expected to maintain the public relation role and promoting the RPRA and pigeon racing in general

well congratulations to carlos napolina?
excelent performance,and well done,
this can only be a positive for the hobby/sport and treat it with contempt.
do not detract from this as after all HRM IS THE QUEEN patron to the hobby/sport,
be sensible.

Come on Rose was he supposed to know Carlo was to put up this performance

But seeing you are critisising all round why not apply for the JOB

You seem to miss the point the RPRA does a good job, just not the things you want

I would swop Peter Bryant any day for the manager of the SHU

Anytime I have contacted Peter even though I am not a member of the RPRA I have always recieved a reply

But that may also be conceived as a crime

Lets wait and see who you get next he has big boots to fill

Look at the GOOD points not all the bad points it's easy to critisise

Cheers
Ian

Ps I am totaly impartial. Wish he was working for us.
