i took 5 of my young birds fo there first toss today was 11.2 miles from the loft they came back in drips and draps my last bird has just come back now and it has no feathers on the left side of its stomach is this a sign of a hawk attack, the bird its self seems ok asides this feather loss. What should i do with her now leave her feathers to grow back or can i continue training her as long as she seems up to it.

any advice guys and gals would be great.

if the feathers are missing along her side its more likely she has skimmed some wires.
If she has not brused herself and excercises ok then she will be able to go again but just watch her around home first.

One mile or so, is ample for your first  yb lib. single up all.  For 7 days. Tedious for old hands, but exciting for new starters. Then! into 10- 15  mile and leave e'm there.
