Considering, some guys were predicting a harder race. It didn't turn out too bad, Did it?
I got 8 from the 9  I sent to Fourgeres,  the injured yearling, although handling well is missing.  I don't know why, but I can't seem to get an early one lately. I,m 15 mins behind the winner of my club but had 5 out the 9 in the clock within 20 minutes. And all looked well on arrival from the 360 mile race. Funny old game, Aint it?  LOL

Good flying. Well done.

Funny old game, Aint it?  LOL [/quote]

It's just hilarious   much of the time, & quite often I'm   myself to sleep here, when all my plans on race day etc go belly up   "Big time". But as you well know old fella   you just have to hang in there, till the sun shines etc & your turn comes around once again.
Enjoy.

I hear the midland federation had a very hard race today return wise, i hear they went to appleby in a transit van!! What kind of fed is this?  I know the birds were dehydrated today i also think that the conveyor will have to look at himself as he is the snfc conveyor lets hope it doesn't happen in the snfc.

we've had 4/5 from tours with the welsh south road fed+nat. only 2 last night(1083+1071ypm) and 2 yearling hens this morning 5-30+7-15. we're the most westerly loft in the result by about 10/15mls from the nearest loft.

just went down the shed for a look and the little swine is sitting on her eggs ,she must have sneaked in while i was on here. so all home now and i'm chuffed . they must have met rain yesterday afternoon somewhere because we had the 2 cocks at 5-38+5-46 and that left plenty of time for the hens to come(and i fancied all 3 of them) but nothing rolled in and i heard reports of rain along the south coast and south wales yesterday afternoon . at the marking ststion some boys had'nt seen a feather and most were less than half back.
