hi all im gonna build some nest boxes wot size do they need to be ive got two compartments to build them in ones 8 ft x5 other is 6 ft x5... 8ft old bird race shed other stock shed thanks darren
Hi, going back to time I was building my own boxes, before I started I decided first what type of nest fronts I wanted; I chose a plastic type, and got my box measurements from that. The section dimensions then determine whether the boxes are two or three rows wide , and height.
Would also recommend your bottom box to be a foot off the floor, and your top box floor no higher than eye level.
hi im not gonna have fronts 4 now will build them my self got a load of dowls so will use them so i can build them to fit i was gonna make boxes 1 and a half ft sq is this too small thanks for info cheers
