With good returns on the south road Saturday, I was amazed to find that two of the biggest organisations held over, knowing that  on Tuesday  they would be in "the last chance saloon" Why on earth? They decided against a Saturday lib, doesn't make sense in my book. I've even heard in some quarters that, the MNFC have cold feet, regarding pigeons being liberated in Easterly winds, realising that the scousers section, second biggest now. will do the honours.  NW National. Two scousers from Widnes, worrall and Crowe  wupped the arses of all the Manchester Guys, etc. on Saturday I am told.  As I was  Saying, "I don't believe it. "LOL Victor ( call me what you like) Too many old arses in this dwindling game, eh!

Len. (Nut.) I have squirells on my brain at the moment, Sorry! By the way, young Ben races from East to West! Hence the sound barrier nearly being broken. But these birds of today? WOOSH!

I have since heard, that a "political decision"  was made by somebody  in the MNFC. What does this mean?

I know its very easy to say in hindsight but dont think the MNFC were the only ones that may have got it wrong think the NFC could have gone Saturday as well  Just have to see what the next few days bring

Rose, you did say yourself, that if, no lib Saturday. Wednesday was perhaps,  the only way out,  of the predicament  the big two are now in, up to their necks, may I add. Why couldn't they see it that way? Every day in the basket is taking its toll out of each and every bird.  Too many, money grabbers, is the way Vic reads it. If liberated tomorrow, all looks well up to the Midlands, then continual rain. Somebody, somewhere has mucked it all up. As I keep saying, we are the ones who are killing this beautiful game.

Tuesday looks best day at the moment but weathers very unpredictable at the moment we gone from torrential rain here to hot and hazy to overcast and windy again I think they are just going to hope now for a decent opening and I doubt if the wind or the conditions are going suit everyone   I would be bit concerned with the amount of birds that went in the crates for the NFC more than anything else if I had birds in it far too many for my liking

Billy.  I had a similar position last week. one of my birds arrived with a hole in its side, (lower pectoral) and with all secondaries missing, half a wing shall we say? Caused I think, by young predators, learning how it's done.   Five weeks time he'll be going to the pre- ultimate one.

Rose, your read it wrong! I meant moving them out of the bad weather in France, to better weather further south, to give them a flying start. PIGEONS WILL GO THROUGH THE BAD STUFF, ONCE ON LINE FOR HOME.  BUT FIND IT HARD GOING, IF LIBERATED IN THE BAD WEATHER.

Sorry Vic mis read that  Agree with what you just said though one of the most important things for the birds is a good start a lot of decent birds will come through even bad weather once they are not far from home

Did Vic not predetermine the outcome? Most of us are treated like mopheads, by the ones who are pulling the strings, Don't you think?
