After flying north in 2006 and only ybs in 2008 yesterday was my 1st  channel race for nearly 4 years and never mind what people say you just cant beat the romance and unpredictability of the english channel and pigeon racing.

Timed a little yearling hen doing 1347ypm, she was 1st club and the fastest pigeon around Bristol, i could not hold my joy!!!

Have to agree

I have raced North for over 20 years and have flown south properly now for one season. The buzz of French racing is fantastic. I would hate to go North again
