hello,
after doing a 12 hour shift on thursday i had the pleasure of going over to the bbc marking station at salisbury. we arrived at 4.20pm for 5pm marking. my father in law who is 70 cannot stand for to long on his feet so muggins here done must of the queing. there must of been 70 plus people in front of us. i know marking the birds is a thankless job. my grumble is the people who had ETS where ever they were in the queue they went straight to the front with there birds. i find that a bit unfair as we got through at 6,50pm. i think more consideration should be given to older people. like i said i take my hat off to the people who do the marking.

My understanding from clubmates that went to the marking was that there was obviously a place to mark birds with rubbers on and a place for people who had ETS,surely that was the  most efficient way to set up things, sorry to hear that your father in law had to stand for so long, personally i would of said Dad you wait in the car i,ll put the birds through.
