What's your preferences regarding widowhood cocks having a bath?  I prefer Thursday afternoons this time of year, moving onto Fridays when it gets warmer.

Took some advice off Richard Green of Crowley and Green this year, he has given his birds a warm bath midweek before the big races and said they really benifit from it.

I see the bath as a tool, a warm bath for two things a cold bath for three others.

Some guys in these quarters do actually use, not warm, but fairly hot water, for the dip, and swear by it. The guy from the Sheffield, area. (I can't think of his name,) states in his video, that the later his birds take a bath on marking day, the better chance he has of topping the fed. So there we go! Everybody to there own methods.
But it definitely is an advantage if applied at the right time.

Midweek? Wouldn't that not be on marking day for the Clasics?

Jimmy , Nice for a "somebody"  in my estimation to reveal a trick or two. without cards being involved. But they follow suit at the end of the day dont they?  I cant sleep tonight, because I.m too excited!   (Two days before Kick off)

Only bath cocks on a sunday morning, open loft to please themselves while sections are sprayed out and left to dry.

All race team have access to a bath every Sunday morning. However will be interested in the feedback from those that are trying the Friday prebasketing bath method.
