The Pigeonbasics Auction is once again in benefit of the
Pigeonbasics Fund. Last year the Fund came to the aid of a number of fanciers who had been the victim of arson or other criminal attacks; helping them re-establish themselves in the sport.
Below are the birds and items listed for the 2008 auction. This list may be updated with details and in some cases additional lots - I will post when there is any change.
There are birds from the UK, Ireland and the USA listed, and other items such as a 12 bird basket and a Tauris ETS system!
Auction Rules- bids will be accepted in a PM to either saleman or Webmaster, email to fund@pigeonbasics.com and by telephone (details below) PLEASE REMEMBER TO INCLUDE THE LOT NUMBER AND BID AMOUNT
- all lots start at £5 and will increment in bids not lower than £5 more than the previous bid (unless stated otherwise in the lot details)
- current bids will be listed on this first post, and updated at least daily (hourly and better in the final weekend).
- an advert will appear in the fancy press coinciding with the final weekend of the sale
- bidding may commence now and end at 9pm 16th March 2008.
- bids received in the final 15 mins of any lot will mean that the lot will be kept open for an additional 15 mins. This will apply until all lots have not been bid upon for a minimum period of 15 mins (during this time we will be flat out, so please check the lot you are bidding on to make sure that your bid has won)
- lots finished will be denoted by 'Ended' after the 'Current Bid:'.
- we will endeavour to notify members when they have been outbid, however in the final hours of the auction this may not be possible
- winning bidders are responsible for shipping costs
