I use it once a month. Asda do a bottle (distinctive tall black bottle) called Good Oil, a Cold Pressed Hempseed oil, Light, for around £6. I've found 60ml of it ideal for getting my probiotic (Flightpath) on the food, once a month.

Although it gets on the birds head and face feathers when they eat the grain (barley) being a very light oil, it 'clears' overnight, and the birds feathers are unaffected by next day.

I've used it in the past, 100% organic & I got it through my daughter etc, who works for a Naturopath (interesting field). But I'm afraid to say !!!!!, I was a  wee bit dissapointed in it & I didn't really see all that much difference etc for the birds.
But no harm in trying it, if it takes your fancy. I could tell you, a lot worse things you could give them   .
Enjoy
