mick,i use beans alot one of best grains for rearing. club mate feeds 50% beans to old bird racers, last few years has won most races plus 3x 1st section mnfc

i use verse laga superwidowhood and gerry plus experimented with feeding in my 1st season and found i got the best results using them

i voted Versa Laga althought i use farm corns as much as i can , but Versa Laga in my mind has the best range and is what i use during the racing season

Same as that mate.Costa do a 25k bag of rice for about 7quid as well .
just mix and match as i see fit i will use a base mix but its not allways the same then just add bits to it.
I'm on gem breeding at the moment but i mix a handfull of chicken pellets in with each feed to get the protein levels higher for breeding.
