chukpop think we are mixing our geschifters ,sorry for any confusion mate ? mixing our geshifters ! ( sounds like an elvis costello record ) ? anyone out there know the origins of soontjens pigeons never realy looked into them ?

Hi craig

Sun= gerry plus    water has epsom salts / bicarb soda / glucose powder
Mon= gerry plus    water yackolt
tue's= gerry plus   water only
wed = super w/hood plus.  water metertone
thurs=super w/hood plus.  water  only    feed as much as they want pm
fri = am  white millett 1/2 oz per bird  water only    if hot weather then we put glucose in water.

sat = on return from race small seed with lemon juice and brewers yeast, made the day before so it is dry.   pm gerry plus

The best sprint pigeons are the ones that win people keep on goin on about this breed that breed yet 99% of pigeons are just a mixture of others if you like 2 birds and they win pair them together a pure any thing can be brought any where a pigeon with 10-15 1st is rare but i know the one i would go for

ive been looking at vercammens record in belgium as the top pools winner well that looks like a damn good recomendation for a sprint/middle distance strain 2 me
hes selectively breed a strain that will sprint well in even the hardest conditions

ps weve got mainly van hees there an alrounder  famed for its capability of winning at all distances if that clears up the confussion

The Gerard & Michael Van Hee were imported bu Louella in the early-mid 1970's.  Such lines as "Motta" and "Patrick" etc. Dad had 'em in 1975 & they were, and remain a superb 500 mile pigeon.
No way can they possibly be construed as a sprinter.

Whatever wins for you im sticking to my heinz 57 Im new to sprinting and after looking at the birds for sale at blackpool i came to the conclusion that every breed going on what was said about them was the best
