One of the clubs im in USED to have a cracking presentation night the fanciers all got their friends to come along, but now there is so much tension in the club noone will go. this club is now forming a break away club splitting the club right up the middle. look at last fridays racing pigeon 7th october 2nd or 3rd page i think. NWHU   application to join from Holywell & District flying club. sport is dying as it is so why do this?

Think its the same everywhere I remember years ago having some brilliant presentations it was getting the tickets that was the problem now you be lucky if they have any at all and if your not one of the popular few they seem to forget to tell u when it is   I really got a thing about these silly little clubs certain people want to form most of the time its because it makes them look good its easy to win every week when u got nobody to beat give me a big club with plenty of members and birds going least u can say u achieved something when u do win and u proved that the birds are capable of beating the best u can fly against

Our Club always hold a presentation evening and Banquet early February, always a very very nice occasion. Our club is very social, we meet up every Tuesday throughout the year for lunch and after we basket the birds for the race we again go to our local watering hole for Dinner.  When we are training the guys meet up at the watering hole for coffee most mornings about 6,30 am and we always have a pot luck (everyone take a an item of food) at our club meetings.

I think our club is the exception not the rule.
