Hello. I need some serious advice from (UK) pigeon people please.
What can I buy my brother-in-law for his 50th birthday? He lives, breaths and... no, he doesn't quite eat racing pigeons but you know what I mean. I have bought a book but it's not enough. Are there any accessories available that might be useful? Preferably something that can be sent in the post. What about those rings? I want to be original but I'm stumped.

sally have a look at www.boddy&ridewood or www.petronlofts they both have loads of ideas for a present for pigeon men, how about a dvd or even buy him a pigeon...
Thank you Greengrass. I have looked at those 2 sites and they're great. Lots of interesting gifts. I'm sure I can find something to amuse him.
Not sure about buying a pigeon though. I expect he'll be getting one or two from people more knowledgeable than me. I think I might stick to the hip flask or watch - very 'cute'. Mmm... Can I say that about a pigeon??
hi sally,i know you said you had got him a book, buy him another.its called THE FLYING VETS PIGEON HEALTH MANAGEMENT.auther DR COLLIN WALKER.its the best ive bought and im sure he would be well pleased.....
If your having a knees up; have a look at the 'Show Rosettes' on those websites and pick a suitable (or comically unsuitable..lol) one for him to wear; went down a treat at a doo I went to.

Hi Sally. The e bay suggestion is a good one. You can get everything from wall plates, pigeon equipment, mugs to even ceramic numbered door signs with a pigeon on it. (I know cos I got one....wife thinks it's naff so it must be worth getting. LOL) E Bay would be worth a look.
there is one gift i can think of that people have certainly bought pigeon fanciers its a eyeglass there not expensive about £10 some sre cheaper some are alot dearer but that the usuall price for one just a thought!
all the best in finding him a present! paul carter
