π Gino Houbrechts (Gors-Opleeuw) wins 1st Provincial & 1st National Zone C Dax (Yearlings)! A big win for Gino Houbrechts from Gors-Opleeuw on the tough long-distance classic from Dax! With his cock BE24-5062722, Gino takes home both 1st Provincial Limburg and 1st National Zone C against yearlings. Despite the relatively low number of entries in Limburg (45 birds β 258 combined old & yearlings) and Zone C (74 birds β 278 combined), this should not take away from the quality of the performance. The winning cock also secured an impressive 24th National against 1,482 yearlings! π Breakdown of the results across all categories (old + yearlings combined): π Provincial Limburg: 4th against 258 π Zone C: 3rd against 278 π National Belgium: 89th against 3,889 π₯ The winner, BE24-5062722, is a blue cock raced on classic widowhood. π¨βπ¦βπ¦ His pedigree speaks volumes: β’ Father: BE12-5105840 β direct from the late Nico Jaspers, a brother to his 1st National Ace Pigeon E.L.D. KBDB 2014. β’ Mother: BE21-5046172 β top Jos ThonΓ© origin. Her father is an inbred βSEDNAβ (BE16-2226807) and her mother a sister of βGAGGANβ (BE19-5095769). π« The cock was trained along the eastern line via the Tienen club and raced twice from Bar-le-Duc. He then flew: β’ Chalon-sur-SaΓ΄ne (17 May): 10th/58 in βDe Vredeβ Tongeren β’ Valence II: Zonal classification in Zone C: 49th/262 After three weeks of rest, he was basketed for Daxβ¦ and returned remarkably fresh! 𧬠βNot a coincidence,β says Gino. βThe parents of 5062722/24 come from some of my very best breeding lines β the kind of bloodlines that originate from true champions.β πͺ A performance rooted in quality, planning, and top genetics. Congratulations Gino!

1st pigeon of Marseille, preliminary 25th national, very happy with this hard race and most pigeons on the east side. Now 3 pigeons in the top 46 national. Proud of my team.π₯°ππ₯³ The first pigeon has Silke, Jef and again "Porsche 911" inside, it seems this "Porsche 911" line is doing great crossed with marathon pigeons on marathon races. That's one of the reasons we introduced "Marathon Porsche" π₯³π₯°π
